In October 2023, the consortium GRIMALDI EUROMED–MINOAN LINES, in cooperation with Investment Construction Commercial and Industrial SA (EKEV SA), acquired a majority 67% stake in the Igoumenitsa Port Authority for €84.17 million. Subsequently, in September 2024, the consortium GRIMALDI EUROMED–MINOAN LINES acquired a majority 67% stake in the Heraklion Port Authority for €80 million.
MINOAN LINES operates daily year-round ferry services on the Piraeus–Milos–Heraklion route and vice versa with the vessels KNOSSOS PALACE and FESTOS PALACE. In addition, the company operates daily year-round services between Igoumenitsa and Brindisi and vice versa with the vessel KYDON PALACE, in cooperation with Grimaldi Lines and its vessel Europalink.
MINOAN LINES demonstrates a strong commitment to health, culture, sports, education, sustainable development and environmental responsibility. It was the first company in the Greek passenger shipping sector to invest in exhaust gas cleaning systems (scrubbers).
