The MEDITERRANEAN MARITIME ACADEMY was founded in Limassol in 2016, with the approval of the Department of Merchant Shipping, under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works of the Republic of Cyprus.
In 2022, the Academy received approval to operate a school in Piraeus, Greece.
The school offers 2 training programs, in accordance with the international standards as set by the IMO, STCW convention:
- Officer in charge of a Navigational Watch
- Officer in charge of an Engineering Watch.
The training includes 2 years of theoretical education at the school and 12 months of practical training on board as cadets.

Η Ναυτική Ακαδημία MEDITERRANEAN MARITIME ACADEMY ιδρύθηκε στην Λεμεσό το 2016, μετά από έγκριση του Τμήματος Εμπορικής Ναυτιλίας υπό το Υπουργείο Μεταφορών, Επικοινωνιών και Έργων της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας.
Το 2022 έλαβε την έγκριση για να λειτουργήσει σχολή και στον Πειραιά.
Η σχολή παρέχει 2 προγράμματα εκπαίδευσης σύμφωνα ακριβώς με τα Διεθνή πρότυπα όπως ορίζονται από τον ΙΜΟ στην σύμβαση STCW :
- Officer in charge of a Navigational Watch
- Officer in charge of an Engineering Watch.
Η εκπαίδευση περιλαμβάνει 2 έτη θεωρητικών μαθημάτων στην σχολή και 12 μήνες κατευθυνόμενης πρακτικής άσκησης επί πλοίου.
